UNIT 166 BRIDGE CLUBS

Unit 166 takes in a lot of territory. It encompasses all of the "Golden Horseshoe" from the U.S. border, through the Niagara peninsula, along Lake Ontario through Hamilton, Burlington and Mississauga into Metropolitan Toronto, right up to the borders of Durham Region on the east and York Region on the north.

Because of the size of the Unit, we function with our "Association" concept. The Associations are semi-autonomous ( they "do their own thing" ) , but they discharge their responsibilities under the overall control of the Unit Board of Directors.
The clubs are the part of the Associations and each Association has a representative on the Unit Board of Directors.
The other 10 members of the Unit Board are elected by all of the Unit members in elections held each year at the Toronto Easter Regional.
